College Students - Summer Employment 2020 – Manufacturing Environment
Taghleef is looking for college students who are interested in working the summer.
This program matches college students with available summer production positions. College students enrolled in school can earn money while developing real-world job skills through the College Summer Student paid program at Taghleef.
As a summer student, you will use a crane or manipulator to lift large rolls of films off the production line and onto a pallet. Following operating instructions, you will be required to weigh, band, skid-wrap and label each product. Using a forklift, you will then transport packaged pallets from production area to the shipping area, ensuring the highest quality standards are followed.
Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be actively enrolled in college program
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work the entire summer
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• Must be able to follow mandatory safety procedures
• Must participate in training program (computer, classroom, safety, etc.)
• Must be able to withstand continuous periods (12 hours) of moving, walking, bending, stooping, keeling, twisting motion, climbing and descending stairs and ladders to perform most tasks
• Must be mentally sharp and quick to respond
• Must be able to learn how to operate a fork truck and/or pallet jack
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
Schedule: Rotating Swing Shift (3 days on, 3 off, 3 nights on, repeat).
Shift Times: 6:00am-6:00pm and 6:00pm-6:00am
